WHITCOMBE, a parish in the hundred of CULLIFORD-TREE, Dorchester division of the county of DORSET, 2¼ miles (S.E.) from Dorchester, containing 54 inhabitants.

The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Dorset, and diocese of Bristol, and in the patronage of the Impropriators.
