WARMWELL, a parish in the hundred of WINFRITH, Blandford (South) division of the county of DORSET, 5½ miles (S.E.) from Dorchester, containing 82 inhabitants.

The, living is a rectory, united in 1749 to that of Poxwell, in the archdeaconry of Dorset, and diocese of Bristol, rated in the king's books at £15.
