WALLDITCH, a parish in the hundred of GODDER-THORNE, Bridport division of the county of DORSET, 1¾ mile (E. by S.) from Bridport, containing 141 inhabitants.

The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Dorset, and diocese of Bristol, and in the patronage of Lord Rolle and another. The church, dedicated to St. Mary, was formerly a free chapel, or chantry.
