SUTTON-WALDRON, a parish in the hundred of REDLANE, Sturminster division of the county of DonSET, 5½ miles (S.) from Shaftesbury, containing 206 inhabitants.

The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Dorset, and diocese of Bristol, rated in the king's books at £9. 9. 4½., and in the patronage of H. C. Sturt, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Bartholomew.
