PERROT (SOUTH), a parish in the hundred of BEAMINSTER-FORUM and REDHONE, Bridport division of the county of DORSET, 4¼ miles (N. by W.) from Beaminster, containing 317 inhabitants.

The living is a rectory, with the perpetual curacy of Mosterton annexed, in the archdeaconry of Dorset, and diocese of Bristol, rated in the king's books at £17. 14. 2. Samuel Wills, Esq. was patron in 1809. The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
