LILLINGTON, a parish in the hundred of SHERBORNE, Sherborne division of the county of DORSET, 3½ miles (S. by W.) from Sherborne, containing 185 inhabitants.

The living is a discharged rectory, in the peculiar jurisdiction of the Dean of Salisbury, rated in the king's books at £10. 12. 3½. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon were patrons in 1798. The church is dedicated to St. Martin.
