HOLME (EAST), an extra-parochial liberty, in the hundred of HASILOR, Blandford (South) division of the county of DORSET, 2½ miles (S.W. by W.) from Wareham, containing 42 inhabitants. Here was formerly a cell subordinate to the Cluniac priory of Montacute, in the county of Somerset.
