STOKE-WAKE, a parish in the hundred of WHITEWAY, Cerne subdivision of the county of DORSET, 10 miles (W.) from Blandford-Forum, containing 139 inhabitants.

The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Dorset, and diocese of Bristol, rated in the king's books at 8. 8. 9. H. Seymour, Esq. was patron in 1817. The church is dedicated to All Saints.
