PERROT (SOUTH), a parish in the hundred of BEAMINSTER-FORUM and REDHONE, Bridport division of the county of DORSET, 4 miles (N. by W.) from Beaminster, containing 317 inhabitants.

The living is a rectory, with the perpetual curacy of Mosterton annexed, in the archdeaconry of Dorset, and diocese of Bristol, rated in the king's books at 17. 14. 2. Samuel Wills, Esq. was patron in 1809. The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
