The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Dorset, and diocese of Bristol, rated in the king's books at 13. 3. 4. W. Trenchard, Esq. was patron in 1810. The church is dedicated to St. Mary. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
