inhabitants.
The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Dorset, and diocese of Bristol, rated in the king's books at £9. 18. 10., and in the patronage of the Dowager Countess of Sandwich and the Marquis of Cleveland. The church is dedicated to St. Giles. Volume 2, page 411 |
