BUCKLAND-RIPERS, a parish in the hundred of CULLIFORD-TREE, Dorchester division of the county of DORSET, 3½ miles (N.W. by N.) from Melcombe Regis, containing 60 inhabitants.

The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Dorset, and diocese of Bristol, rated in the king's books at £5. 9. 2. J. Frampton, Esq. was patron in 1813.
